How a Simple Test Changed Her Life at 62 – A Journey to Better Health
    Vanessa Botha

A healthy lifestyle can feel overwhelming at any age, but imagine starting at 62. For one remarkable woman, it wasn’t about radical diets or extreme changes—it was about understanding her body better and making small, sustainable changes.

A New Reflection in the Mirror

For years, she’d worn scrubs that clung tightly to her hips. But recently, something remarkable happened—her scrubs felt looser. When she caught her reflection in the mirror, she realized her body had changed. And not just physically—she felt different too.

“I just feel better,” she says. “I’m lighter, happier, and more energized.”

    Less Chocolate, More Fruits

One of the biggest surprises was her reduced craving for chocolate. “I always reached for chocolate when I felt stressed,” she recalls. But since discovering her food intolerances, she’s naturally gravitating towards fresh fruits instead. “I don’t even think about chocolate like I used to—I just feel more balanced.”

    Navigating the Challenge of Change

While progress has been exciting, it hasn’t always been easy. Swapping out casein—an ingredient found in milk products—proved challenging at first. “I struggled to find alternatives that tasted good or felt right in my routine,” she admits. “But I’m getting into the groove now. It’s becoming easier.”

A Tough Lesson on Food Intolerances

But the biggest lesson came when she decided to indulge in salmon fettuccine—a meal containing one of her intolerance triggers.

“It was delicious,” she laughs. “But the weekend that followed wasn’t.”

Severe diarrhea, bloating, and painful stomach discomfort left her bedridden. “I felt like my stomach was full of bubbles,” she recalls. “It was awful, and I only started feeling better on Monday.”

That weekend served as a powerful reminder: the intolerance test wasn’t just helpful—it was life-changing.

“I never really believed that food could have such a big impact until I experienced it myself,” she says. “Now, I know exactly what to avoid—and I’m a better person for it.”

    Why the Intolerance Test Works

This journey proves that knowledge is power. The intolerance test identified the foods her body couldn’t tolerate, and by avoiding those triggers, she’s now thriving.

“I didn’t think I’d feel this good at 62,” she says. “But I do—and I owe it to learning what my body actually needs.”

Are you struggling with unexplained fatigue, bloating, or cravings?

An intolerance test could be your game-changer too.
